Three motifs joined.

Now the 'improved' (or rather, original way Dora intended) joining method is looking a whole lot better.

I've added my interpretation of Dora's joins to the top of the blog post in her 'section'. I just hope that they are understandable and would (as usual) appreciate any feedback either good (if any!!) or bad (as expected!!).

I was wondering if you were going to do that. Gives it a hypnotic effect, doesn't it?

Amazing!!! Is the pattern on Etsy or any where?

Alka - the pattern is in the book called 'All New Knotless Tatting Designs' by Dora Young. It was originally published in the 1970's but has recently been re-printed (with permission from her family) by Heidi Nakayama. You can find it in most tatting supply shops and also in Amazon. It's an amazing book full of interesting designs. If you search through my blog you'll find lots of the designs that I've made and at the top on a 'pages' tab you can find some hints on how to work some of them. Please don't hesitate to email me for further information if you want it.
